Use this home watch visit checklist to organize observations, client reporting, and follow-up work.

Adapt this checklist to the residence and your agreed service scope. Record observations rather than assuming that an untested system is working.

1. Confirm the scheduled visit and the areas included in the service agreement.
2. Review the previous report and any open work orders.
3. Observe accessible exterior areas and note visible changes.
4. Check accessible interior rooms for visible leaks, unusual odors, or damage.
5. Record observations for the agreed HVAC, plumbing, and appliance checks.
6. Photograph findings and classify items that need monitoring or attention.
7. Confirm the agreed closing and security steps before leaving.
8. Write client notes, publish the report, and arrange follow-up work.
